"Royal Blue"

Machinesewing, machine- and handquilting.Made of hungarian handmade "Blueprint" and a fabric with a print called "Musselmalet" from "Royal Copenhagen". I made it as a member of a group of 8 danish and 19 hungarian quilters, for exhibitions - 2002. 82x82 cm.

"Tulips & Roses"

My own design - and my first "big quilt". Handquilting. Log cabin made of black/white fabrics from France. The flowers are handapplique after inspiration from the book: "The Standard Book of Quilt Making and Collecting" of Marrguerite Ickis (1. edition 1949). 142x180 cm. 1988.

"I had a dream - 2002"

The pattern is from the book "Cut Loose". I used handmade blueprint bought in Hungary and most of the black/white fabrics are from Paris. The quilt is now in Botosan, Romania, in the house "Center Blue". The house is ment to be a coming home for orphans, as they come to an age of 18 years. 90x110 cm.

"Visions of Light"

Inspiration: Michael James.Machinesewing, machine- and handquilting. Was exhibited in Belgium for EQA. 122x122 cm.

"Clown Act"

A fabric with clowns was the inspiration for this quilt for a child. Some motives were cut out and used in the design, e.g. the flying kites. Machinesewing, -quilting and -embroidery. My own design - 95x130 cm - 1995.

No more september 2001

Inspiration: Bente Vold Klausen, Norway. Machinesewing and -quilting with metallic tread. I made the quilt in september 2001 so the name is: "No more September". It belongs to my youngest son. 124x124 cm.

"Provence"

Bedspread - my own design - 220x220 cm. Made of fabric from Provence (France) and some silk. Machinesewing and -quilting. The curtains in the bedroom are made of the same fabric.

"Roses are red"

Big wallquilt in very bright colours on black - the "broken star" with border of "flying birds". Machinesewing, machine- and handquilting. The quilting patterns are roses - quiltet with a red thread. 125x125 cm.

"Tree of Life"

Design: Rieke Bonting-Holten - 120x120 cm - 2002. Fabric: "Home printed documentary designs from Holland" and silk. Technique: Machinesewing and stamps, machine- and handquilting.
